1) STUDENT GOAL: West Hardin County CISD will advance a culture of
high expectations in preparing all students to be college and/or military
and/or career ready. We will use an aligned TEKS based Curriculum,
maintain partnerships with local colleges/career/tech institutes and work to
expand the number of schools with whom we partner. The district will
continue to implement the 1:1 technology at the Middle School.
2) BOARD/COMMUNITY/STAFF RELATIONS GOAL: West Hardin
County CISD will maintain open lines of communication with all
stakeholders and create opportunities for all stakeholders to play an active
role in the educational process. Parents will be kept informed regarding their
student's education and the community will be informed regarding
school activities. District Staff will attend and share District information at a
minimum of 10 community meetings/events.
3) OPERATIONS GOAL: West Hardin County CISD will be fiscally
responsible with local, state, and federal funds, while properly allocating
sufficient funds to provide a quality education for all students at West
Hardin County CISD.
4) LEADERSHIP GOAL: West Hardin County CISD will provide staff and
students with a safe and orderly learning environment. The District will
work to create a culture of respect based on high expectations. All district
personnel are accountable for student performance and professional
behavior.
